Maine's Famous Seven Napkin Burger!
When I first heard about the 7 Napkin Burger I wanted to try it! I was curious to see if it was really better than any other burger I have had (at home, fancy restaurants, burger joints, etc). Now that I have enjoyed one, I can honestly report that this is one AMAZING burger! I'm no food critic and don't have the culinary vocabulary to accurately describe why. All I can say is...if you enjoy eating great burgers, go and get one at OHGS! You won't be disappointed! -SBH

Ok this is the best grilled cheese I have ever eaten. I never order grilled cheeses in restaurants but I saw what was in it and I was like that looks good and When I ate it was just perfect! I highly recommend

I am so looking forward to having a 7 napkin burger. Last time I was in Rockland the General store was closed and there was no satisfying my 7 napkin burger craving. Then the pandemic hit, so we did not do our usual trip to Maine. Now, we coming back to for the first time in over two years and the 7 napkin burger is back. Life is good, see you soon.
Greek Pizza
My girlfriend and I ordered the Greek pizza and I have to tell you that it was so flavorful and the crust was perfect. We vacation here when we can and we always find the time to visit the General Store.

I have been here for three owners. I don't know how it happened. But the quality of the burger (which was amazing) has gotten better. It is the best burger I have ever eaten.

7 napkins? They lied! It took considerably more than 7 napkins to eat this unbelievably delicious burger... Thankfully they are aware of this and give you ample napkins...Maybe one of the best burgers I've ever had... And certainly The tastiest mess ;) LOVED IT
Very Veggie
Yum. Healthy vegetable soup. Great for near any diet. If it’s not substantial enough, add a side of diced chicken. It’s tasty!!!
